- Through Publications
GFA produces two publications on a regular basis to keep churches and individuals supplied with missions-related information:
Sowing & Reaping (6 times a year)
- missionary profiles
- service needs & opportunities
- special missions projects
- trends in missions
Dividend (12 times a year)
- detailed field information
- detailed missionary prayer lists
- With People
Our
speakers can give your members or students a burden for missions
through challenging and educational messages, illustrated by personal
experience. We're available for as long as a week or more or as short
as a single service.
- As a Sentinel
GFA
carefully and thoroughly evaluates missionary candidates before we send
them out on deputation or to the field. This gives you confidence in
the credibility of GFA missionaries who contact you and seek support.
- As an Accountant
We
make sure your money is going where you intended it to go! We receive
monthly reports from our missionaries and can assure you that the
missionaries you support are properly cared for and are doing the job
for which they were sent to the field.
We uphold a
high level of financial stewardship and ethics. Support levels are
based on current and projected living and ministry costs for each
field, and GFA will supply to supporters current missionary support
information whenever it's required.
Maintaining Accountability
The apostle Paul, during one of his missionary journeys, sought a
provision for his own accountability and testimony as he was carrying a
financial gift from the churches to the saints at Jerusalem (I
Corinthians 16:3-4; 2 Corinthians 8:18-22). As missionaries in the
twenty-first century seek financial and prayer support from numbers of
different independent churches, the need exists to provide a clear
testimony of their integrity to local churches. GFA Missions seeks to
work as a true yokefellow with local churches by meeting this need.
Gospel Fellowship Association fits the Biblical pattern of the many
helpers of the New Testament missionary.
