Bio

When God called Pastor Jeremy to St. George, He called him back to the West. Originally from Colorado, he left the West for Bible college. While at Northland Baptist Bible College, he studied Youth Ministries and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following graduation, he became a staff member at Northland Camp in Wisconsin where he worked for 5 years.

From there, he joined the faculty of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College as the Dean of Men. During his time at Pillsbury, he also worked on a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, which he completed in 2006. Having a love for the local church and a desire to minister on a more long-term level, he and his family moved to St. George, Utah in the Summer of 2006 to begin serving the Lord at Westside Baptist Church as the Associate Pastor.

In 2016 Pastor Jeremy, with the help of Westside, began making plans for a new church plant in the rapidly growing area of Washington, Utah toward the new airport. Valley of Grace Church held its first service on April 9th, 2017.

Trena was born in a small fishing village in New Brunswick, Canada. After graduating from high school, she attended Northland Baptist Bible College where she received a major in Bible and Christian Ministries and a minor in Missions. It was at Northland that she and Jeremy met and were married in 1995. Since then, she has enjoyed a variety of occupations and ministries including: camp administration, college education, office management, a number of youth and women’s ministries, church planting and being a Mom to three very active teenage boys, Dillon (17), Cody (16), and Chase (14).
