Ministry:  Church planting, Bible institute, & Medical evangelism
Home Church:  Heritage Baptist Church, Memphis, TN
On Field Since:  2001

Danny grew up in Tennessee, and Carrie grew up throughout the United States (Kansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Arkansas) since her dad was a Christian school administrator. Danny and Carrie met in 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee at Danny's home church.

When they met, Carrie already felt called to the mission field; but Danny's call came several years later. While Danny was in seminary preparing for the mission field, Carrie went to Cameroon as a single missionary in 1998. She helped start a clinic at a seminary near the capital city of Yaoundé. Danny went to Cameroon short-term and taught one semester at the seminary in 2000.

Danny and Carrie were married in 2001 and returned to the seminary. After having been gone from Cameroon for two-and-a-half years for furlough and language study, they settled in Foumban in 2004. They are both involved in church planting among the Bamoun tribe, which is mostly Muslim. Carrie also works in a mobile medical clinic. Danny teaches in a Bible institute, which was started in 2006.
